Ram ProMaster
Willow Creek Transmissions has remanufactured transmissions for RAM ProMasters in stock. These ProMaster transmissions have been completely disassembled and reassembled with upgraded parts to provide longevity. RAM ProMaster Transmissions are prone to premature failure mostly due to their torque converters and subsequently taking out the pump. The pumps do not provide adequate pressure under low RPM conditions. These remanufactured transmissions have an updated pump to remedy this problem
Since 2014, Ram ProMaster transmissions have been plagued with numerous problems.
Some symptoms include:
- Vibrations at around 45 mph
- Code P0741 and/or P1744 Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) Malfunction
- No Forward or reverse
- Overheating and going into failsafe after a long drive
- Pump Whine
What makes our transmission better and last longer are the upgrades done to them. We overhaul these transmissions with :

· We require the old transmission to be returned and there is a $1000 deposit placed at time of sale. If you'd like to avoid the core deposit, please remove your transmission, strap it to a pallet and let us pick it up first. The core must have a good housing for core credit.
Our ProMaster transmissions are upgraded with updated pumps to increase pressure and flow. We also provide a heavy-duty torque converter. We back our transmissions with a 24 Month Unlimited Mile Warranty, better than the dealer. All our transmissions are Dyno tested. Our Transmissions
Don't waste your money on a used transmission...it hasn't been updated, and will fail just like yours has. Our transmissions have been completely disassembled, cleaned, and examined thoroughly for wear, breakage, and distortion. All parts have been measured for wear, and only those components that meet manufacturer's specifications are used. They are then reassembled and fine-tuned to ensure that all tolerances and clearances are measured and adjusted to the optimal specification. We add new o-rings, seals, and gaskets, and we use high energy steel and friction clutches, new differential bearings, a heavy duty torque converter, a new internal filter and an add-on inline cooler filter where applicable. We then test the transmissions on our dyno to make sure it works as it should.
